Marriage brings one into … (Soren Kierkegaard)
Marriage brings one into fatal connection with custom and tradition, and traditions and customs are like the wind and weather, altogether incalculable.

The highest and most beautiful things in life are not to be heard about, nor read about, nor seen but, if one will, are to be lived.

There’s a bird in my bedroom
one bird
beautiful
passionate
romantic
I love her
treasure her
she’s the one
the one and only bird in my life
I’m hers
she’s mine
I’m at peace
we’ll fly away together
memories passing by. in my mind. like. birds. seeking warmer pastures. for a cold winter. coming.
It belongs to the imperfection of everything human that man can only attain his desire by passing through its opposite.
– Soren Kierkegaard
As I sit quiet on the land I listen to the silence that it sits in… A few birds talking back and forth about how the silence will soon bring the rain and from the great blessing of the rain comes easy pickings from the worms… Got me to thinking about what the worms must be going through when the rains come knowing that they are sitting ducks towards dinner for their bird friends… When a worm hears a bird singing to they take shelter and hide like when a war plane flys over… Do even the birds know that their singing voice makes scarce the dinner menu… Perhaps they only speak when their bellies are full… Hummmmm… Oh how wonderful our animal friends and teachers are yet I wonder what they think of us humans… Dear friends take a moment sitting quiet in nature and open up to what is living around you and start to see things with your ears and listen close with your eyes… maybe and just maybe you might sit still quiet enough to have nature come to you asking who in the world you are… Blessings are found free within nature… Thanks creator we love you…

Not just in commerce but in the world of ideas too our age is putting on a veritable clearance sale. Everything can be had so dirt cheap that one begins to wonder whether in the end anyone will want to make a bid.

Patience is necessary, and one cannot reap immediately where one has sown.

When we met
early in the morning
sun rising along the river
a mystical place
transcendent scenery
you
me
and the woman
offering to wash your clothes
colors engulfing our souls
bathing ourselves in the water
together
silently sharing a mystical energy
you forever transformed
and touched my soul
without any words
we departed
as one
